One of the most powerful features in PRO Software is the Customer Portal. This portal allows your customers to log into their PRO Software account, view invoices, and pay online. Granting customer portal access provides your clients with a permanent login ID, enabling them to conveniently manage their account at any time.
Granting Customer Portal Access
Follow these steps to provide your customer with portal access:
- Go to the Customer Level
- Navigate to the sales order in PRO Software.
- Click on "ACTION"
- Locate the "ACTION" dropdown menu.
- Select "Grant Portal Access"
- A new window will appear.
- Choose the Customer's Email
- Select the email they will use to log into the portal.
- Click "APPLY"
- The system will grant access and send an email notification to the customer.
Customer Login and Account Setup
Once access is granted, the user will receive an email with their username and a portal link. Instruct them to follow these steps:
- Click the link in the email to "Change Your Password."
- Create a new password and click the SIGN UP button.
- Once logged in, they will have full access to their account.

Managing Invoices and Payments
After logging in, customers can:
✅ View invoices within the portal. ✅ Make payments directly from the invoice screen. ✅ Select multiple invoices to pay at once. ✅ Download and print open or paid invoices.
To pay an invoice:
- Click Invoices in the portal.
- Select the invoice(s) and click PAY NOW.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.
