With PRO Software, invoice validation is a simple yet critical process that confirms invoice details before they are finalized. Once validated, invoices receive a unique number and are recorded in your accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Steps to Validate Invoices in PRO Software

Follow these steps to validate invoices efficiently:

  1. Access the Accounting Module
    • From the PRO Home Screen, navigate to the Accounting Module.
  2. Open Invoices
    • Click Customers > Invoices from the top menu.
  3. Filter and Group Invoices
    • Set the Filter to Draft and Group by Partner to view unvalidated invoices.
  4. Select Invoices for Validation
    • Open the customer’s invoices that need validation.
    • Select one or multiple invoices to validate.
  5. Confirm Validation
    • A new window will appear with a notification: Once draft invoices are confirmed, they cannot be modified.
    • Click Confirm Invoices to finalize.

Post-Validation Actions

After validation:

  • Invoices are removed from the draft view.
  • To find validated invoices, reset filters to display Open Invoices.
  • You can now:
    • Send invoices to customers
    • Register payments
    • Charge customer credit cards manually
