Effective documentation is essential for accurate service tracking and communication between drivers and dispatch. PRO Software enables drivers to take photos of units or jobsites and add one-time work order notes for better record-keeping and issue resolution.
Taking a Picture of a Unit or Jobsite
After scanning a unit, drivers can capture an image as proof of service by following these steps:
- Click “Take A Picture” to activate the camera.
- If prompted, grant the necessary permissions.
- Ensure the device is not in selfie mode if the screen appears blank.
- Click the capture button to take the photo.
Additional Photo Options
- Photos can be added to a unit location, work order, or full jobsite.
- The images captured in this workflow specifically pertain to the unit being placed, serviced, or dropped off via the driver dashboard.
- Some device settings may vary; for personalized assistance, contact PRO Tech Support.
Adding a One-Time Work Order Note
If a driver encounters an issue at a service location, they can document the details using One-Time Work Order Notes:
- Click “Add One-Time WO Notes”.
- Write the note with relevant details.
- Click “Add Note” to save it.
Benefits of Work Order Notes
- Keeps dispatch informed of field conditions.
- Helps document issues such as supply shortages or unit location problems.
- Provides a clear record of challenges encountered during service.
By using photos and notes, drivers ensure better transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency in service tracking.
