Flexibility in route management is essential for field operations, especially when drivers need to service locations out of sequence. PRO Software provides a streamlined way to handle out-of-order job sites efficiently while maintaining accountability.
Jumping to a Different Stop
If a driver needs to service a location out of order, they can simply:
- Click the arrow beside the stop they need to jump to.
- Complete the stop as usual.
- After closing the location, the system will automatically return to the original stop where the driver left off.
This feature is especially useful when:
- A site needs immediate attention.
- A driver must make an unplanned service stop.
- Roadblocks or detours require route adjustments.
Viewing All Stops in a Route
Once a driver completes the check-in process and begins a route, they can click “WO LIST” to view all stops on that route.
Controlling Access for Accountability
While this feature provides flexibility, some companies may prefer to restrict access for accountability purposes.
- If strict route order is required, companies can disable access to the out-of-sequence service feature.
- Many businesses opt for manual closure of unserviceable stops to ensure each location is properly documented.
By leveraging these route management tools, companies can maintain efficiency while ensuring compliance with their operational policies.
