Streamlining DVIR & Unit Tracking in PRO Software

Ensuring efficient and accurate tracking of serviced units is critical for field operations. PRO Software simplifies this process with Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs) and unit tracking tools, helping drivers seamlessly record their work and update jobsite geolocations. Here’s how to use these features effectively.

Completing a DVIR & Starting a Route

  1. Perform the DVIR Check
    • Before heading out, the driver must complete the DVIR checklist and close the first location (depot).
    • Once completed, they can proceed to their first stop.
  2. Recording a Serviced Unit
    • At each stop, the driver must scan or enter a unit number to indicate service completion (cleaning, maintenance, etc.).
    • Two options are available:
      • Enable Camera to Scan a Unit using a PRO QR Code.
      • Enter Number manually to input the unit code.
    • After entry, click Unit Serviced to close the task and move to the next stop or work order.

GPS Geocoding for Accurate Location Tracking

  • When a unit is scanned or entered, it is automatically assigned a GPS geocode.
  • If the geocode needs updating, use the Geocode Jobsite Button to refresh GPS coordinates for the location.

Handling Unserviceable Units

  • If a unit cannot be serviced, click Unit Not Serviced and provide additional details.
  • You may be prompted to take a picture for documentation.
  • If the camera does not enable, click Flip Camera to switch from selfie mode.
  • Use the Add Note feature to inform dispatch about issues or special circumstances.

By following these steps, drivers can efficiently document serviced units, ensure accurate GPS data, and communicate effectively with dispatch. PRO Software provides the tools needed for seamless route management and service tracking.
