How to Assign Fencing Equipment to Locations After Delivery in PRO Software

After delivering fencing equipment, it is essential to correctly assign panels to the appropriate site location in PRO Software. This ensures accurate tracking and efficient management of fencing assets.

Steps to Assign Fencing Equipment to a Site Location

  1. Access Portable Toilet Management
    • From the main dashboard, click the Portable Toilet Management icon.
  2. Group Equipment by Type & Stage
    • Organize equipment based on availability and current usage stage.
  3. Open Available Equipment
    • Locate the fencing equipment that was delivered.
  4. Select the Delivered Panels
    • Click the checkboxes for the panels being assigned to the site location.
  5. Update Equipment Status
    • Click Action > Update Portable Toilet (same function applies to fencing equipment).

Finalizing the Assignment

  1. Update the Equipment Status
    • Change the PT State to Rented to reflect its active status at the site.
  2. Assign the Customer & Site Location
    • Ensure the correct customer and job site are linked to the fencing equipment.
  3. Click Update
    • Save changes to finalize the assignment.

📌 Note: Similar to Portable Restrooms, fencing panels require a Special Drop-Off action to log the delivery properly in the system.
