Adding a Location to a Static Route in PRO Software

Efficient route scheduling is key to optimizing your operations. PRO Software makes it easy to add a location to a static route, ensuring a seamless workflow for dispatching and scheduling. Follow these steps to get started.

Filtering for Completed Work Orders

  1. Clear any preset filters in the search bar.
  2. Filter by "Dropoff" using the dropdown menu.
  3. From the PRO home screen, open Dispatching (Route Scheduling).
  4. Click "Work Orders" in the header menu.
  5. Select "Completed" from the dropdown menu.

Adding a Location to a Static Route

  1. Open the desired Work Order.
  2. Click "Add Location to Static Route."
  3. A new window will open with additional options.
  4. Click "Add a Line" to reveal more settings.

Selecting and Finalizing the Route

  1. Choose one or more routes by checking the box next to them.
  2. Click the "Select" button.
  3. Click "Add." (You don’t need to use the "Position after location" option, as optimization will occur later.)
  4. Once added, you will be redirected to the Static Route page.

Navigating Back to the Work Order

  • Now that the locations and work orders have been successfully added to your route, you can return to the Work Order thread by clicking the provided link.
