Creating a Static Route in PRO Software

Setting up a static route in PRO Software allows for efficient scheduling and dispatching of recurring stops. Follow these steps to create and configure a static route.

Steps to Create a Static Route

  1. From the PRO home screen, click "Dispatching."
  2. Click "Scheduled Routes," then select "Static Route Templates."
  3. Click "Create" to begin setting up a new static route.
  4. Enter general static route details:
    • Route Name
    • Driver (must be assigned in User Setup)
    • Vehicle (must be established during data import)
    • Yard (Depot)
    • Day of the Week

Note: PRO Software will have driver and truck details pre-configured by this step.

Setting Up Locations in a Static Route

  1. Click "Dispatch View."
  2. Click "Add a Line" to add your first location (starting depot).
  3. Continue adding locations along the route (only addresses are needed at this stage).
  4. Ensure the last stop is also a depot to complete the route.
  5. Click "Save & Close" to finalize the static route.

Launching the Static Route

  • At this stage, you can change the route state from DRAFT to RUNNING to officially launch it.
