Sometimes, work orders (WOs) need to be reassigned to a different route for better scheduling. PRO Software makes it easy to move WOs while maintaining efficiency. Follow these steps to transfer stops to a new or existing route.
Steps to Move Work Orders
- Open "Route Scheduling / Dispatching."
- Select the scheduled route that contains the work orders you want to move.
- Ensure you're in Dispatch View.
- Select the stops you want to move (you can choose one or multiple at once).
- Click "Move Order to Another Route."
Choosing a New or Existing Route
Once the move function is selected, you will have two options:
- Option A: Assign the selected WOs to a new route (you can create a new route at this step).
- Option B: Move the WOs to an existing route in the system.
Moving WOs to a Pre-Made Route
- Select the destination route from the dropdown menu.
- Choose an "Add After" option to determine the order in which these WOs will appear.
- You can optimize and rearrange them later if needed.
- Click "Move to Another Route" to finalize the transfer.
PRO TIP
- For active routes: Add WOs at the end of the route to avoid interfering with completed work orders.
- For routes that haven't started yet: Add WOs anywhere and optimize the order afterward.
By following these steps, you can efficiently move work orders between routes while keeping your schedule organized and flexible.
